From 12:01 am on Sunday August 10, 2014 through midnight on Saturday, August 16, 2014, qualifying clothing and footwear priced $100 or less will be exempt from Maryland’s 6% sales tax. Virginia’s 2014 Sales Tax Holiday for school supplies and clothing will be held during the weekend of August 1st through 3rd 2014. During this three day period eligible school supply items priced at $20 or less and each eligible article of clothing and footwear priced at $100 or less will be exempt from Virginia sales tax.
