Should I cue up the sappy status now? Because the people who have ever marched anywhere or been in any group will tell you that its more than that, its a family. Music itself is a family; and, its just so damn hard to get off a bus and just walk away from a family. Its near impossible. This season with Olympic Independent Percussion was more perfect than any words could ever describe. This was my fifth year marching, but this season was something special. Congrats to every group that played their hearts out this season and gave it all they had. Thats what music is, its blood, sweat, tears, and love. Lots of it. Til next season.
