Should I really be required by law to warn a burglar that Im armed and will shoot? Shouldnt the concept of personal responsibility come into play here? If someone decides to break into a house where I live, my assumption is that as they left their home, they made that personal choice to risk their own lives, since everyone knows theres always a possibility a home owner might be armed. Instead of changing laws that make us required to advertise that were armed, I think the law of common sense needs to be applied here. You choose to steal for a living, your life could be lost. Your choice. Dont want to get shot by an angry homeowner? Then dont break into houses, its real simple. Heres an example: I dont want to get eaten by tigers. So, I dont jump into the tiger pit at the zoo wearing a bacon suit. See?
