Should Roger Goodell get fired over the Ray Rice incident? WHAT? This country is chock full of stone throwers who dont even care who they throw stones at. Should the president of the US be held responsible every time a crime is committed in this country? Come on. Roger Goodell simply follows policies and procedures that the NFL owners themselves create. Hes head of the HR department if you will. If this incident sparks a necessary change in the domestic violence policy, then they should all look at that and vote in a new policy if needed. GOD forbid I do anything wrong, I can become public enemy #1 in seconds and my entire life, along with my family, could be ruined for generations. COME ON PEOPLE. Slow down and use your heads. Ray Rice assaulted his wife. The policy at the time was a 2 week suspension. It was carried out. The video of the incident came out months later. After seeing the video, the Ravens decided to let Rice go. After seeing the video, the commissioner of the NFL placed a ban on Ray Rice from playing again. What more do you want? Now you want Goodells head because he didnt do that sooner? Life is not about being perfect. Its about always doing what you think is best and right and if you find out you could have or should have done something differently, admit it, fix it and move on. Goodell is not the criminal here. Lets all stop the madness and get back to football. Maybe show some more highlights of the Dolphins Patriots game from Sunday.
