Should SCPD and sheriff officers be outfitted with so-called body cameras? Whats happening in MO is of course specific to that town, but aspects of it face any community and PDs. If the LEO in Ferguson had been wearing a body camera, the many current questions and uncertainty wouldnt exist. The same would be true for the Salinas shootings. So at $300 a pop and prices dropping (plus storage costs), would it be a good idea for our local PDs to invest in this technology?
