Should cameras be allowed in court in the trial of parents accused of keeping their daughters captive? Thats what a judge will have to decide. Today a judge denied a camera in the courtroom for a hearing in the case of Fernando and Sophia Richter, who are accused of holding three of Sophias daughters captive for about two years inside their homes in Tucson and Catalina. Earlier this month, a Pima County judge found Fernando Richter competent to stand trial. Lawyers have been discussing whether cameras will be allowed at future hearings for the pair.
