Should you be a selfish parent? Olga Levancuka says it’s time parents learned to say ‘no’. She says the more you give in, the less respect you’ll receive from your children and the more they’ll expect to get away with. Instead she says get your kids to do things for you. Don’t over-praise them and don’t sacrifice your happiness for their satisfaction. Kids are excellent psychologists and are great at getting other people to do their tasks for them. Do the same. (It’s worth noting that Olga doesn’t have children of her own.)
