Shout out to Victor Valley Junior High Valiants 1974 - 1976 and Victor Valley High School Jackrabbits 1977 - 1979 and the Victor Valley Community our precious brother Freddie Pogue went home to the Lord on November 21 2014. I am grateful that God brought Freddie into my life 40 years ago, as he shared a special friendship with so many of us in Junior High and High School. I remember the day he came back into my life in August 2012 as he entered Victor Valley Rescue Mission Recovery Program. I remember picking him up from Sandi Carlos apartment and thinking Thank you Jesus for bringing Freddie back to us In January 2014, Freddie became very ill. God had all the proper people in place at the Rescue Mission, so I was able to step back and help our brother with his health issues. So after 10 months he was released from his pain and went to be with Jesus at home with loved ones surrounding him. I was honored to be there. Freddie, I read this and thought of you. You are not important because of how long you live. You are important because of how effective you live. You brought many to the Lord with your servants heart. Thank you for being a beautiful Godly Man - you took a piece of my heart! Thank you for changing the Victor Valley Community one by one.
