Show Me with facts, any governorship aspirant in delta state that has excellent track record better than senator Okowas, I will withdraw my support from him. For Me, there is non, I have not seen any and there wont be any as long as deltans have decided that in 2015, their votes will be given to a credible, reliable, selfless, passionate, and above all, a leader with unblemish antecedents that have in the past and present reflected their will and interest. I x-rayed and took careful analysis of almost the 20aspirants jostling for the number one position in the state, then I realised that its only senator okowa that meets the requirement needed to take over from H.E Dr. E.E Uduaghan, the executive governor of delta state whose tenure expires on may 29th 2015. Empirically speaking, good leaders possess some unique characters that predispose them to behave in manners that attract followers to them. This no doubt, gives deltans the conviction that senator is one of the few 21st century leaders whose pattern of leading commands support from every nook and crannies of the state, judging by his past and present political records, and taking thoughtful reflection on his given speeches which overtly portrays his passion to lead in order to make life better for the teeming populace. Little did I not weep when I watched senator okowa addressing PDP local govt area executives in four local government areas in delta north visited by the senator, the peoples response to his speech forced some drop of tears out of eyes. Then,I began to wonder why some people still programme their minds in such a way that no politician is worth giving support but the warm welcome offered to the hopeful governorship aspirant, amiable and selfless Dr. Okowa by the good people of aniocha north and south, oshimili north and south, uvwie, isoko, ughelli etc justifies that he is worth staking ones resources, time, and energy for. Honourably making his speech, senator okowa taught all who listened to him while addressing the people that leadership is all about unity, good governance, performance,and vision which he publicly declared are his full time mission when elected in 2015. This is a man who talks less and does much. A leader in whose hands the key of David is entrusted by God to unlock the doors of job opportunities, stable and free economic system for deltans,hopelessness and to barnish economic hardship from delta state. The dilapidated infrastructures will not be left unrehabilitated in his administration, learning environment will be given befitting look with libraries and science laboratories equipped with modern Materials to meet the global standard. Skill acquisition centres will established to accommodate every class of the society both the educated and uneducated, these I know for sure, senator okowa will achieve within a short period in his administration. Deltans are tired of leaders who open their mouth to promise heavens and earth but only swallow the promises after gaining the mandate of the people. These anomalies, senator okowa is out to correct. Deltans, 2015 will be a litmus test for us either to right choice and sing halleluya to God for choosing wisely or choose wrongly and be ready to face the aftermath consequences. It is time to shun stomach campaign to better our living so that posterity will judge us well. Finally, I will not fail to remind us that all eyes are on deltans come 2015 governorship election. Senator Okowas outstanding performance in the senate and committee chairman on health, is an indication that the nation is looking up to deltans to vote him in as governor in order to continue with the reform he has begun.
