Showers and thunderstorms continue pushing eastward out of our viewing area. At 3:12am, the strongest storms have exited the entire viewing area. Lingering showers and thunderstorms continue mainly east of a line from Paducah to Guthrie, Jayton and Snyder. Occasional lightning and moderate rainfall is expected. Heaviest rainfall will likely push towards Abilene. Snyder has picked up 0.67 for the highest Texas Tech Mesonet rainfall total so far this morning. Rain chances taper off through 5:00am.
