Sia is one of my favorite artists. She is an amazing singer and a very talented songwriter that has written a lot of songs even for famous singers like Rihanna, Britney Spears, Beyonce among others. Her latest video song I like it, even though some people are creating controversy on youtube about it; many people like it because they understand the meaning of the lyrics and what this video is trying to interpret about Sias life. Shia and Maddie in the video represent the two sides of Sia. Maddie is, still on Chandeliers paper, representing her addictive and aggressive side. Shia is her present-self, more recovered. But Shia doesnt want to let go of Maddie (the past), because though the past hurts her and sometimes she has moments when those addictions fight to recover, the fact that theyre on a cage means that one cant be without the other; theyre trapped inside a single being. Theyre parts of Sia self states. People dont like the environment and make up false assumptions about the videos interpretation and meanings without seeing the whole video and comprehending the lyrics to understand what she truly is trying to show and say. Sias intention was to create some emotional content, not to upset anybody who doesnt understand her message. This is her latest video song...
