Siddhas are the most interesting spiritual adepts Ive ever encountered through literature, besides perhaps the Daoists or Shingon Buddhists (though the Johannite Templars, the group Jesus is associated with, are pretty cool, too.) Their poetry is exquisite and they even curse the project of (most/many) monasteries from their, as you will read below, literally-enlightened states; from their perfect bodies that have fused and become one with the transcendent wisdom of the universe, which is itself beyond all notions, divisive attitudes and beliefs about it. Baron is the only person Ive encountered who seems to want to live in a way similar to the mahasiddhas and the various crazed-and-holy fool yogins - which is why my compassion is directed at him in a way he has yet to understand. In other news, the Internet and my dubious karma coalesced in finding the Vajra Guru mantra for me last night, and after reciting it only once Ive experienced some healing / rememory and had some dreams like Im used to having them. No gods or demons trying to love me down in my sleep yet tho, so there is still more recovering to do. ;) Jakob Connor Abba Anthony
