Side Effect to Osteopathic Treatment! Post treatment it is not unusual for patient to report symptoms of soreness, aches, occasional bruising sensation or tiredness. Some even jokingly described it as being hit by a bus!!!! All these side effect are the consequence of the osteopathic treatment loosening rights muscles and joints, readjusting their proper function with the purpose of improving mobility and ultimately reducing pain. However some patient do not experience any negative side effects at all. (Fitter? Higher pain threshold?) Some treatment have for purpose to alter the way you use your body or drain certain area of toxins... Some patient report mild aches for a day or two, others feel flu like, others like they have been hit by a double Decker the next day before feeling alive Dan pain free. If in doubt ask your practitioner what is normal.
