Sigh! Where does one start? Today was one of the most special days ever at the Dead Dog! Oh my God, the crowds coming out in support of live music was mind boggling. Hey do you people know its January not July. As I emceed the proceedings I had to use every ounce of strength I had to keep my emotions intact. My heartfelt thanks to the amazing bands that performed, Paul Grimshaw Band, The Necessary Band, Painted Man and The Mullets. The Josh Brannon Band and Bil Krauss who were unable to be there, you are so honored indeed! A tip of the hat as well to our three inductees, Jay Hodge, Bil Krauss and The Mullets! My thanks go out to Marks wife Stephanie Necessary, who photographed every emotional moment, to the media who covered this crazy fun event, to the fans of our musicians and the DD that jam packed our humble establishment all day and night and to my wonderful staff and family, who executed this day seamlessly. WOW! Thought I had a cute idea here. Today was a monster. The Dog may be dead, but LIVE music will live forever at the Dead Dog. Today was a gift of riches that one can only dream of. Thank you again to all of you for making this day so special! The paradise that is Murrells Inlet, RULES! You all have again showed the DD your love, and honored the great musicians of the Grand Strand!
