Sign of the times, I guess...and let me first state that I believe what both Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson did was wrong. But with the advent of social media forums like THIS ONE, I think its far too easy to become judge, jury and executioner before due process has its chance. Sometimes its for the good, sometimes not so much. I think back 15 or so years ago to the Kobe Bryant rape case and the Ray Lewis murder case (ironic that I mention that one as I sit in a hotel room in Atlanta) and wonder how much differently each case would have been viewed and administered, had they happened in this day and time. I know Kobe did not miss a single game and I dont believe Ray-Ray did either. Obviously, we aint going back to the ways and methods of back then anytime soon (if ever), but it does make one wonder if we are allowing technology to cause some of us to get way, way ahead of ourselves sometimes...
