Sign the Petition Against Common Core Common Core needs to be stopped because: 1. I know whats best for my childs education Every child is unique. My child does not benefit from one-size-fits-all standards set. 2. Common Core undermines my control of my childs education Common Core is an effort to centralize education by dictating the content taught in every public school across the country. It undermines state and local control of education. 3. Common Core puts my childs education at risk There is no evidence that Common Core will boost academic outcomes. And 7 of 10 teachers think the implementation of standards is going poorly in their schools.
