my thoughts about Gallaudet: their fetish for memorializing Deaf President Now in 1988 while collectively forgetting and failing to record the historicity of the Unity For Gallaudet protest in 2006 and the martyrdom of 135 arrested on Black Friday and the fact that T. Alan Hurwitz would have been long happily retired, instead of feted as the savior of Gallaudet against his own wishes. Jane Fernandes ought be the next President of Gallaudet.
