Simon and Garfunkel are a bonded pair of deaf male boxers. Simon is about 3 years old and Garfunkel is about 4. They are very sweet, loving boys and have wonderful manners. Their foster mom says she can easily walk both of these big boys with one hand. Simon is the more loving of this pair and he just lives for a nice hug, but hes playful too. Garfunkel loves to play and really needs another boxer companion to be his playmate, but hes a very loving boy too - he isnt big on hugs, but he gives the sweetest little kisses. Both boys are dog and cat friendly, but Simon ignores cats while Garfunkel invites them to play with him with play bows. The boys are very gentle, but because they are deaf, it would probably be best if they go into a home with older children or no children. Right now these boys are in a foster home with 3 other boxers and a very cranky Jack Russell Terrier. They definitely give the little dog the respect she demands and they are great with the big dogs too. Simon and Garfunkel are fully house trained and both go very nicely into their crate together. Garf seems to be the smarter one and he knows signs for sit, come, and stop it (he sometimes plays rough). Luckily Simon isnt completely deaf because he seems to only know signs for sit and come so far, but he can hear you whistle. We would really love to see these sweet boys adopted together because they have been through so much together and come out still amazingly sweet and loving and well-behaved.
