Simple Innocent Riddle A king was seriously ill. Though the medics have said that he will recover, he was worried sick about his empire. The reason was that he had no heir of his own. Also his wife had passed away a couple of years ago. In such a scenario, there was no one to look after his kingdom after his death. He called all the children of his empire in his court on one day. He gave one seed to all of them and asked them to grow it. He told them that he will give them a months time for growing that seed and will personally examine all the plants after the period. The one who had grown the most beautiful plant will be crowned the heir to his kingdom. After a month, all the children return back. He examines all the plants and announces a little boy with empty pot as his heir. Why?
