Simplicity is the Ultimate Sophistication ~ Leonardo da - TopicsExpress

Simplicity is the Ultimate Sophistication ~ Leonardo da Vinci As many of you already know, I sold my apartment in Miami back in May, 2012. I gave most of my possessions away, and embarked on a solo quest with only one suitcase to my name, surrendering only to my intuition and not knowing where the journey would take me nor for how long... It was a GREAT adventure, and I was able to face myself (sometimes very reluctantly) at so many levels. I experienced pain, loss, fear, lack, loneliness, abandonment, sadness... Yet I also had the opportunity to shed all those feelings as the layers were showing up to be released away, anyway. The feelings of joy, freedom, excitement, romance, beauty, hope, and sovereign detachment were all experienced as well. It was truly a constant roller coaster ride. I came back different, and after a period of processing, started to realize how much stronger and SIMPLER I had become. At this moment, I probably have only 2 suitcases worth of so-called possessions to my name, mostly consisting of just clothes (this girl still loves wearing her outfits) Lol I am living on a month-to-month basis, and have almost no bills. I can basically go anywhere whenever Id like, and have a job that is so fulfilling that it doesnt feel like work at all... It is all smooth & easy, and it flows now more than ever because I had to learn to let go... To SIMPLIFY. This does not mean that I dont go through any challenges, they are ever present in my life... Yet I am so used to facing discomfort that I have accepted it as part of my learning process and growth experience. This brings more Peace & JOY. We are so adaptable as a species. I am just here to express that things can get better, mainly because we drop the resistance and we stop trying to control what is currently (or constantly) happening outside, and instead internalize our life. We can then let GO of accumulating things, people, and relationships for that feeling of safety which tends to be an external process of co-dependency due to an inner sense of lack. We all eventually come back to our REAL home... without the illusion of the material, and only the memories of the thoughts & choices we made, how much we Loved, and how we dealt with things. We are here to create and EXPERIENCE. If we hold onto anything too tight, we suffer. There is no use in trying to put the wrench in a perfectly spinning wheel. Everything is always moving and unfolding before us, and if we allow ourselves to dance with that natural Divine groove with positive anticipation, we wont get stuck in the rut of our negative emotions. It takes a LOT of Trust to flow... I still need the reminders myself: I actually just reminded myself by writing this ;-) Thank you ALL for being a part of my jOURney... HAPPY FUNday Sunday!
