Since 2009 American politics has leaned to a state of "wishy" - TopicsExpress

Since 2009 American politics has leaned to a state of "wishy" "washy". The balance-of-powers either weigh heavy to the left or the right, no longer a balance, or even a common sense method. It is about who has to power. The elites have forgotten their role as "public servant" & work toward their best interests. Besides an America disillusioned government, we have also become the laughing stock of the world. Many Americans feel that America is going through a disturbing period of time--the people are polarized, there is civil discourse, people have become cynical and angry, and frustration have hit an all-time high The government is operating under dysfunctional leadership with its economy still trying to recover. Not only do we have a leadership that is out-of-touch, we are plagued with the sad state of affairs of an uninformed and/or ignorant class of people that are voting without even a clue. What happened to the Patriots? I will say it was awesome to see the bikers converge on DC yesterday The American people should be able to trust that their Government is doing everything in its power to follow the letter of the law/Constitution. E (from/out) pluribus (plural/many) unum (unit/one) is Latin “Out of many, one". Sometimes it is more loosely translated as "One out of many” or “One from many”. The understood meaning of the phrase “E Pluribus Unum” refers to the fact that the United States was formed as a cohesive single nation as the result of the thirteen smaller independent colonies (states) joining together to emerge into a single nation. However, in recent years its meaning has come to suggest that out of many peoples, races, religions and ancestries has emerged a single people and nation—illustrating the concept of the melting pot. Interesting fact: E pluribus unum has 13 letters. E pluribus unum alludes to the union between the states and federal government, The countries from which these states were “peopled" as shown in the Great Seal of the United States are: (1) the rose (England), (2) thistle (Scotland), (3) harp (Ireland), (4) fleur-de-lis (France), (5) lion (Holland), and (6) an imperial two-headed eagle (Germany). The entire Great Seal represents a symbol of unity of many different interest groups in political decision-making. Each group assimilated into the dominant English & political culture, albeit with local variations. The key word “assimilated” – E pluribus unum. The threads of continuity in our national identity have been unraveled and rewoven in large amounts of hypocrisy have replaced the very foundation that made this nation great. The shift is not only now “many from one” but many rights we once knew are being trampled and/or redefine to accommodate this change. We always thought we would have to worry about the enemy from “without” but we have more to worry about with the enemy from “within”.
