Since I cant sleep, Im just reflecting on today. Although sometimes the circumstances that surround me may not always be what I want them to be, I had a pretty great day. Our awesome Youth Worship team played for us during service today. This was one of the songs they did, and they just bring tears to my eyes because they just continue to amaze me. They are all so young still and they dont even realize how incredible they are, in ALL ways. Pastor Lukas gave a great message too about Changing your Perspective. I take notes during our sermons, otherwise I dont always remember the point of the messages, plus I like to go back and reflect on how it can guide me and let God speak to me on the areas I need to change and improve, and there are A LOT of them. 2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. Maybe you dont believe that God is real. Well , my life, and my personal experiences tell me that there IS. There is NO WAY that I can survive in this life without my faith, and without Jesus to place my trust in. Things dont always work the way I want them to or believe they should, but, still, I will boast of my weaknesses so that others can see that its not me that gets me through this life. Its Him. And for that, I am so grateful.
