Since I got off steroids 2 months ago I do not handle heat very well. Last night Belize had a national black out. That started while I was preaching in what was an air-conditioned civic center. I preached and closed my message. In the dark. As the temps soared in the auditorium. Thankfully, Pastor Edsel Cardinez drove me around in air conditioning for awhile. Then Dale Hulse took over and kept me calm and cool for another 90 minutes. As we started to leave Belmopan for the west and a hotel that had an ac running on generators, our hotel phones to say power is back on. What a night! I hope you dont think less of me if I say, nerve wracking in my current condition. But, when I was coming up we used to sing: Im a soldier in the army of The Lord ... If I die let me die in the army of The Lord. Pray for me. But, dont worry about me. Everybodys dying. And, most of them are doing it for nothing. Dont get excited Cheryl Im not gonna die this trip. But, when I do, Im going out with my boots on.
