Since I liked a status, Ronne Ronne Akin-Davidson assigned me a number, and I have to reveal that many facts about myself that she does not know. Wouldnt you know it, Ronne assigned me 12! No mercy! So if I like anyone else I am going to cut and paste from below, I am not going through this again! So here goes: 1- I was born in Wilson, NC 2- My first pet was a black kitten with white feet that I named Boots. 3- Boots had kittens and I just had to keep one, that I promptly named Florabell. Give me a break I was only 3! 4- We moved to Columbia, SC when I was 4 and Dad was in charge of Freshmen Admissions at Uof SC. Yes, I used to be a Fighting Gamecock Fan believe it or not! 5- When I was in Kindergarden, I was the honorary Little Miss SC homecoming Princess. I got to sit on the back of the open convertible and wave, and I thought I was pretty cool! 6- I used to take tap, jazz, ballet and gymnastics from Gayle Humpries, she has been around a LONG time! Has she finally retired? 7- I took Piano for 5 years and hated every minute of it. My third piano teacher finally called my parents in and told them I was tone deaf, did not want to do it and they were wasting their money. FINALLY, someone was on my side! My sister could pick out some tunes by ear, she must have received my talent.. ha ha!! 8-The first day of first grade, my teacher Miss Gibson arrived over an hour late. When she arrived her long blonde pagent gypsy hair (that was what they called that hairstyle back then, before Farrah.) She arrive wearing hot pants and white go go boots. All the kids thought she was beautiful and mom said the male parents said At least she was worth the wait! 9- We moved to Columbus after first grade and on that first weekend I met my first friend because she was making fun of the new kid on the block. We are still friends to this day, and we shared an apt in Athens while we were both going to the University of Georgia! Go Dawgs and a shout out to my first friend in GA: Jo Harvey Simonds! 10- Mom was the Brownie troop leader for my second grade class, and I am still friends with most of those Brownies today: Dannell Mastrean Marks, Michelle Corley Lott, Lisa Simmons Crenshaw and Wendy Parker Highnote. 11- I was a bridesmaid several times before I was ever a bride, and I am still friends with all of them today : Tonya Bennett Whitten, Le Ann Thompson Fort, Susan Thompson, Kimberly Phillips Dillehay, and Michelle Corley Lott! 12- The preacher was recovering from sugery so since Dad was an Elder in the church he baptisted me and my friend that I am still friends with today: Jan Powell Stewart. WHEW!!!!!! DONE!!!!!!!!!!
