Since I recently felt like I got kicked in the nuts, heres my facebook narcissism for the year: A woman once said, not very long ago at all, You think theres this grand audience, but there isnt. Theres just me. Explain 15 new blog followers in one day. I barely get that in a month. And the nod from a couple of PhDs, and oddly a few New Age types (ugh), a journalist who writes for the Telegraph, and even a Burning Man/WikiMedia big-shot, and some real people like Darius Ballinger (I dont even know him, but it makes sense). Everyone could learn a little from disclosure. I dont mean guarded, panicky, self-righteous, defensive revelations, I mean honesty. We can all look around and say a few things about our original, unique perspectives. Also, found the crux of the biscuit with regard to the new book. Its a good day. Im also developing, for a client, a new web-service you will all like, btw. (Secret). And, I have a couple tunes coming out soon as well, much thanks to Ingo Vogelmann. Yes, this is me bragging, which all of you do here all the time about all kinds of things -- but, I have never been properly institutionalized. So, I probably seem a bit weird.
