Since I was a kid Ive had a sort of obsession with records. Ive been collecting them for about twenty five years now and I STILL have an obsession. If you dont believe me take a look sometime through my pics in my Essential Music album on here and see for yourself lol. In the age of the digital download, I think we somehow lost the art of the album. Not to say that no artists make them anymore BUT as a general rule...people usually pick n choose song on ITunes like I do at a buffet. I miss the incredible art of albums. Back in the day when you got 10 songs, it usually meant you got 10 good songs. Maybe this has a lot to do with the acts of greed by the industry. There once was a time, or songwriters wrote songs and singers sang them. Just because a singer has an incredible voice doesnt mean they have home the craft of songwriting. So therefore, I think the songs suffer. (But now Im just preaching from a soap box lol) Heres a video that takes a quick look inside of my record collection. I hope you enjoy it.
