Since Im generally not one to hide my feelings, theres something I think needs to be said. As many of you already know, Vince is no longer here as our lead mechanic; we both agreed that it was time for us to part ways. Not in anger, not in sadness (ok, maybe a little sadness), and not with any disrespect. In wishing him well with his new ventures, Im also looking forward to what the future holds for this place that we call the OBC. As always, Im looking to you, Omaha, for help when I need it. In the mean time, I have friends (bike mechanics) that will be helping get us through with our normal operations but, we need a new Service Manager, full time, starting ASAP. Must be honest, hard working, committed, experienced as a bike mechanic, supportive of advocacy efforts, and fun to be around. Spread the word. Email me: sarah(at)omahabicycleco(dot)com.
