Since January 2nd, we have been accepting APPLICATIONS for new children to The Butterfly Fund. To date we have received so many, but sadly we knew we would. There are only 2 days left to submit an application! ( Jan. 16th at midnight is the end!) On January 17th, we will begin the long hard task of choosing 25 new families. Families who have a child with ANY catastrophic condition or event that makes living a NORMAL life difficult, may apply. We will read every story and make our decisions based on the severity of the child first. If you are applying or referred someone to us, PLEASE know that we are a VERY VERY small Organization that does little things with Big Love. We realize the EXTREME NEEDS of so many families applying and we wish there was enough funds and time to give them everything they so desperately need, but sadly, there just isnt. We cannot supply new vehicles or wheelchair accessible vans, make mortgage payments or pay for very large ticket items. The things we CAN and WILL do is always remember your childs birthday, remember all your children at Christmastime, Have an Amazon Wish list for your child on our page and most of all, be your FRIEND.
