Since Rachel Maddow of MSNBC focuses a lot on the voting process I thought I would send this communication to her this morning. Dear Rachel, Im Janis and I am running for Congress. I ran as a Democrat against BIG MONEY, until the Party leadership drafted Mr. Witt, openly campaigning for him, and then raised the filing fee to $10,000. Delay in announcing filing fees, coupled with bad weather, and physical resistance to the signature petition process caused me to terminate any further attempt at a signature petition to be on the ballot. Therefore I filed as a write-in and I have never stopped, nor even slowed down this campaign, and still think it is possible to win this campaign. Yes, I can still win. The ACLU of Arkansas can fill you in on further details. As you are about the best educator I know when it comes to explaining the voting process I thought you might be interested in spending a moment to glance at these two you tube segments. And by the way, the day after I filmed my voting at the old Armory, one of the two voting machines crashed.
