Since Simonn and Tessa are on everyones mind, I thought I would ask. How did you meet Simonn and Tessa? I met Simonn at my first fighter practice. at Rodgers Park like most everyone does. Tessa on the other hand was a whole other story. Simonn and Tessa had recently had a roof fire at their home (1986). Many folks went to their house to help clean up after the fire. Henri was on the roof with Simonn repairing the roof. Since the house had a lot of smoke damage, many of us were cleaning up inside. I was on my hands and knees wiping the soot off the floor when a lovely woman noticed me. She could not believe a total stranger was cleaning her floors. This is how I met Tessa. I found her to be a most gracious lady who I have had the honor of calling friend for almost 30 years.
