Since a lot of you guys asked me before how good are the Mono Max, just think it is a good idea to share how i think about them after I went to the track with Ken Suen this past weekend. I was at Buttonwillion Raceway with Ken Suen and other friends. Ken did a sub 2 in his 9th gen civic that is on Godspeed Mono Max, rear sway bar, rear camber arms and street tires. ( first 9th gen civic on street tires that can do below 2 minutes at BW) 1.How good are the coilovers at the track? They feel great! Really good handling and pretty predicable in corners. The rebound of the coilovers are really good. When i observed the car from outside, the car does look really stiff when it turns, however, when i was inside the car, it feels completely different. The damper works great, The damper were able to take bumps without upsetting the car. However, I think the coilovers would work better if Ken has different springs rate 8/10 instead of 10/12. Main reason is that he has front aero and a superchager on the car so there are more weight on the front end. But 10/12 combination will work great for people who have less aggressive setting. 2. How good are the coilovers( daily driving) Buttonwilliow Raceway is about 146 miles away from home. The whole drive there was pretty comfortable. Slightly bouncy, but not uncomfortable bouncy. 3. How low can they go? The Mono Max can go minimum 3. Kens car is a track car, so he cant slam the car. But you can see how low Alans 8th gen Civic sit on our Mono Max and the coilovers are still fully pre-loaded. Overall: The Mono Max are really good for coilovers that is under $1000. ***This is NOT a for sale post, just simply want to share some feedback with you guys. If you want to get pricing of the Mono Max, please contact Godspeed dealers. These are just my personal opinions. Feel free to leave a comment if you have the Godspeed Mono Max and disagree with me.
