Since it has probably spread beyond its South African borders as evidenced in the recent case in Dallas TX shouldn’t we extend this logic to include all countries. Africa is quickly become a new central business location for many nations who are investing large sum in developing the country. Statistics shows about 1 million Chinese live and work in Africa. South Africa hosts the largest percentage of Chinese, of about 350,000, followed with Angola, of about 260,000. We all know that the data are, however, greatly outdated and fail to reflect the actual population. Dozens of other nations have organization located there. As it takes less than 24 hours for a person to fly great distances while spreading disease throughout several major transportation hubs, it is feasible that it has already spread. It takes around 21 days for a person to show symptoms of the disease but they are contagious much sooner, it is a matter of numbers and probabilities as to how long it would take to appear in major cities throughout the world. So as Bill said we should shut our doors, bar the gates, and sever all ties with this country but by his definition this should include all industrialized nations. But Im just fear mongering becausr if you cant beat them, join them.
