Since the conflict started and on both sides of the conflict, a lot of “News Websites” breeding a new form of “journalism” and journalist have popped up. The problem is, the majority of these people are not journalist - they are not actually trained in the profession and have no interests in respecting any form of a moral code or maintaining a standard of professionalism. Instead; disturbingly and disgustingly; they have reduced matters of national interest into a popularity content, they are on a mission not to expose any truth, but to gather fans however they are to be enticed - even at the cost of few lives (provided of course those lives are not of their own “people” or groups that they support). It is easy to dismiss them, but when one knows how the media has been used in places like Rwanda, and, how it has been used to justify and glorify war, you know that these individuals are engaging in a dangerous trade.
