Since the frames per second are now 1 frame less than the 1DX you can actually reach the life of shutter in the camera battery willing in just five hours of leaving the shutter button down or 200,000 pics. Thats 50,000 more than the original 7D. To put that in perspective Ive shot almost two years with my 7D and I think I have only done about 25,000 of almost 40,000 total since I started with the Sony. Lightroom keeps a count on the left for me. Im no where close to the 150,000 rating for the shutter. The much anticipated DigitalRev review has arrived ;) It was interesting for him to note that he doesnt strongly recommend upgrading from the 7D though. I dont know, when I see it perform I get G.A.S. (gear acquisition syndrome) ;)
