Since the whole slaughter hobbyist / locavore movement has taken off, Ive noticed that so many of the farms near us that sell their produce at farmers markets and through Community Supported Agriculture have now started including pasture-raised-before-we slit-their-throats-but-we-call-it-humane-so-its-okay animals and eggs as part of their offerings. I was starting to lose hope that there was a farm that just focused on produce and not on included using and killing animals. But I found one! So, if youre in the SF Bay Area, may I recommend Terra Firma Farms terrafirmafarm! Im about to sign up for their CSA (until our edible gardens can feed us completely). :)
