Since we have so many adorable, loving animals at Rescue Village, it is way too hard to just pick a dog OR a cat for the pet of the week. SO, now we will have a Dog of the Week and a Cat of the Week. Dog of the Week: Cosmo Hi! I am Cosmo and I am your classic, middle-aged Labrador retriever. In typical Labrador fashion, I would fit in with just about any human family out there and promise to give you lots and lots of love in return. I have very good manners and I still have lots of energy and am willing to play with you all day long. Please stop by to meet me so I can show you what real love is. Cat of the Week: Trixie Hi There! My name is Trixie and there is no other word for me other than SWEET!!! I was found as a stray and it is a very good thing because I was wandering around totally blind! EEk! I will need a special owner because I am a very special gal. I am very affectionate and loving. As long as you show me my cat box, my bed, and my feeding station and keep things in just about the same spot, I should do just fine! Blind cats are amazing at learning their way around their homes. And, Guess What? Trixie walks on a leash and harness! What a great way to help her explore her now home or even for quick adventures outside!
