Since when I became conscious of observing some few past electioneering seasons in Nigeria, next months election seems to me as one which obviously has shown to roll in a high level of Confusing Permutation on Nigerians in deciding whom to vote for; most especially that of the presidential election. Its very clear that most christians who had planned of using their voting power to send Buhari, the APC presidential candidate for the next months general election, back to his Kastina home, are really disappointed and/or confused after a cleric, Osinbanjo, was picked as his running mate. Buhari is seen by most christians as a religous bigot whose utterances and deeds shown lack of religious and cultural tolerance in multi cultural Nigeria, which thereby as pointed out, stands unfit to pilot the ship of the Nigerian govt. Recently, my discussion with a christian friend some days back on where to cast his presidential vote shows that his voting decision was still hard to hold. This ambivalent feeling is not perculia to the southerners or christians alone. Also in the north, there are still double feelings of who to vote for after a report went viral some days ago that the APC candidate, Buhari, due to his health condition, may likely die b4 the expiration of his targetted two terms if voted into power. Unfornately such situation will not be in favour of the Northerners because the western, through Buharis deputy, would take over the govt and definitely manipulates it in order that the westerners retain political power for a longer time. If such(Buharis health) could be confirm to be a naked truth, it then means that the Northerners would rather prefer to support a PDP candidate(Jonathan) who definitely, based on a concluded agreement, will hand over power to the northern block at the expiration of his yet-to-grab 2nd term. Moreover lets watch and see how the voting pattern of Nigerians will go... Nevertheless, no matter how Nigerians are grabbed with this political mathematics, 14Feb will still come and go...what we pray 4 is for some1 who is sincere and has Nigerians at heart to be elected into power regardless of what region or belief he has. May God take control...
