Since when does having a photoshoot automatically make you a fitness model? I get tons of people writing me asking me why I havent added that to my name? Yes, I have been blessed to shoot with some awesome photographers, be on the conver of a Fitness Magazine (Met-Rx), Featured in TRAIN Magazine as well as People Magazine but I dont believe that entitles me to that name. I consider myself an athlete! Someone who wakes up everyday eager to improve and make themselves better. To persevere no matter what obstacles are placed in his/her path.Their only competition is the reflection in the mirror. Their passion and hunger to SUCCEED drives all efforts to do so all while setting an example to those around. Well thats my definition of an athlete and what I live by. Until other opportunities open up, I will continue to be Edwin Velez, personal trainer from Alabama whos passion is to motivate and inspire others to make their impossible, POSSIBLE! #LegionOfBoom #NeverSettle
