Sister-Kamryn Shepherds testimony: This week was super dandy! Man, life as a missionary is just awesome! This week was my first week ever being ordered off of someones property and called a cult. He also said that we are anti Christians.. Awkward since my name tag obviously says the church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints.. Haha what i realized as he was yelling at us was where the world is heading.We are coming closer and closer to the second coming and we need to be ready. At that moment i felt closer to my Savior and could somewhat sympathize with Joseph Smith. I know without a doubt in my mind that he was the prophet of the restoration. He translated the Book of Mormon so we have a guide to return to live in our Heavenly Fathers presence. When Moroni came to the prophet Joseph Smith he told him that his name would be known for good and evil, and as members of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints we need to strengthen our testimony of him. Elder Neil L. Anderson said in his past conference talk, Jesus Christ chose a holy man, a righteous man, to lead the Restoration of the fullness of His gospel. He chose Joseph Smith. I know that as we ask our Heavenly Father sincerely, just as Joseph Smith did that day in a grove of trees, that we can receive an answer. I know that the spirit will testify to your hearts and impress upon your minds the truth. Heavenly Father loves each and every one of us and he would not lead us astray, DO NOT allow yourself to be led off the strait and narrow path.
