“Sit back, relax and enjoy”, said the Indigo flight captain. I have learnt to take this with a pinch of salt. I have had the singular misfortune of having the most maddening co-passengers. From a two year old who insisted that I watch “Bandar Raja aayenge; band, baraat layenge; dawaat kha ke jayenge” on her iPads for 1 hour 10 minutes while her mother went to sleep (I had to remind myself several times that I opted for Paediatrics because I love children) to a passenger who grilled me as soon as he occupied the next seat, “Where are you going Amma?”, “How much did you pay for your ticket?”, “What ID proof is acceptable for a domestic flight from international airport?”. Well, the experiences have been interesting, maybe (retrospectively) enjoyable but not relaxing. Next time I am going to travel with this friend (and she knows who she is), who always has glamorous co-passengers in the next seat. I am hoping for Kangana Ranaut, Deepika Padukone, Obama (unlikely though that he will travel Economy class with NGO types even after his term is over), George Clooney, Ranbir Kapoor to occupy the seat between both of us. I am ready to lower the bar and settle for even Arnab Goswami….
