Sitting here in the Nashville airport and these ritzy people are soooo getting on my nerves! These gas powered plants are going to be so much better than these coal powered plants. Thats all it took for me to put my 2 cents in. Its easy to say something like that when your not being affected by it! I told them that 600+ men where I live have lost there jobs due to this crap. Then they look in shock like they didnt know that was going to happen. We started talking and I explained to them that coal miners are a rare breed and they are some of the hardest working individuals you will ever meet! I asked them what they thought and how they pictured working underground would be like lol! I showed them pictures of miners, shuttle cars, scoops, roof bolters, etc. I showed them how we walk underground and they was like you have to be bent over or on your knees for 8+ hrs lol. I was like the roof bolters might have to work 12+ hours a day. They was like thats crazy! How do you all do that! Wow! This might not change there views. But, COAL KEEPS THE LIGHTS ON!
