Sitting here totally exhausted after our first full week of school. All teacher haters can keep their comments to themselves. Many of us have worked all summer to find ways to make our classroom a better place for children. I have seen many of my colleagues put in 10 hour days to make sure everything is ready to do the best for their students, be upset because of learning of difficult family situations, ease the pain of a child who is carrying a burden to difficult for them to carry, let children know that although there is change everything will be fine, encourage the class to just do their best, and let them know that it will all be OK. I am proud to be a member of the staff at Wallenpaupack North Intermediate School and I value all of our staff. Today was certainly a day when we all came together to support those in need. Heres to a great year ahead.
