Sitting in the surf this morning with an acquaintance (Tom) that Ive surfed with from time-to-time over the years when a big shark came up and took a bite out of his foot. Paddled him in and carried him to the parking lot where a neighbor took him to the emergency room. Literally had to put a turnacate on him because the blood was pumping and squirting out and the bones where exposed. If anyone has information on how Tom is doing, please let me know.
