Sitting on the patio enjoying the beautiful morning ... 6 away is Maxs food dish with the remains of his breakfast in it. Suddenly I notice its swarming with tiny ants! 4 days ago I would have been able to see the bowl but certainly nothing else! When I was 7 years old I walked out of the optometrists office with my first pair of glasses and saw that trees had branches and even leaves on them .... Not just a big blob! So the miracle of cataract surgery at the age of 70 is that my vision is already better now than ever before in my life ... And this is with just having one eye fixed! I cant even begin to imagine what my vision will be like when the other eye is fixed next Wednesday! I think Im embarking on a completely new life journey!
