Sitting on the train on the way back from the city, there is this old guy who looks like iornbark jim talking to this guy accross from him next to where i was sitting, so i dropped a ear into there convosation. Turns out the guy iornbark jim was talking to was recently homeless after this ex misso took both his house and investment house through the divorce settlement, so he had been living on the streets for the last few weeks, was jobless and was only able to see his kids one day out of each fortnight (which was where he was going on this train ride). Iornback gym replys that he used to have 2 propertys on the sunny coast, own a buisness and was doing alright untill parted ways with his ex missus, when the same thing happened to him, and ended up living on the streets for 3 years, and being in the same state that the guy he was talking to was. He told him not to give up, no matter what happens, because you never know what tommorow will bring. You only need 1 person to be there for you, no matter who it is, and talk you and help you though it. The guy got up (as it was his stop) went and shook his hand and thanked him, told him that he was the guy who he needed, and gave him his backpack and told him that he no longer needed it so iornback jim could have it, and walked out of the train. Iornback jim opened the backpack to find a couple of metres of rope inside of it. Im pretty sure everyone that was listening in had tears in there eyes at this stage. Moral of the story: a little chat, even a wave or a smile can make someones day turn from shit to extodinary, and in cases like this, can even save a life
