Sitting with my PRO, discussing why we are not rocking despite our skills. Just doing 2-3 Gastrosurgery cases a month (totally non incentive, skill based referrals, or patient to patient direct walk ins). Sir, kindly allow me incentive based marketing, and then see the magic. Totally refused again. Neurosurgeons doing hysterectomies and prostatectomies in their premises, is just a peep into what wonders incentive based marketing can render. Or Surgeons getting cardiac surgery done in theirs. Still, despite my best efforts, I have not been able to make my portals as zero incentive zone. Some doctors, and even specialists, come with a patient and demand this necessary evil, in which we have to comply. In such cases, I keep it to such a bare minimum token value that they never refer me a patient again. Wonder what those kids raised on incentive money would accomplish in life, for no fault of theirs. Its the duty of the parents, specially the father, to ensure that only food earned from his sweat goes into the mouths of his children. Forget the father, here even the mothers have no qualms in demanding commission, and mind you specialists (i.e. postgraduates). The most wonderful aspect of this dirty game is that a lot of people get the job on their loved ones done from me, but refer patients elsewhere. Three categorise just thrive on commissions----- BAMS and other allied, most MBBS (near total) and some Postgraduates and beyond (super specialists) too and finally, all PCMS (unless proved otherwise). The worst players in this game of nudity are the gynecs. Short of offering their own bodies in lieu of cases, they are down to almost everything else. The limits of indecency these ladies can achieve just to rope in one case is astounding. Ladies ? isnt it unimaginable. And then are the imaging guys who started the game no doubt, popularised it, but now have been relegated to number two by the ladies. My compliments to them as they are doing it decently enough. Wah re bhagwaan, kaisi teri leela.
