Six policemen and their civilian cohort were formally charged in court in connection with their involvement in the abduction of three businessmen in South Cotabato last year. Regional Trial Court Judge Lorenzo Balo indicted SP01 Felestino Reyes, P03 Randy Galan, P02 Franciso Castro, P01 John Cesar Elisano, P01 Julius Ocampo, P01 Jeffrey Delarmente, and Abdul Bashit Ishak for kidnapping for ransom, robbery and carnapping. The chargers were filed against the suspects for their alleged involvement in the abduction of Mohamad Kuto, Abdul Maran Ibat and wife Zenaida Ibat on August 26, 2012. Court records showed the policemen, all assigned to the PNP-Regional Intelligence Group, seized the victims while aboard their Toyota Hilux pickup at a gasoline station in Barrio 2, Koronadal City...
