Six years ago I secured funding for the new VA clinic in Eugene, and ever since then I have been fighting bureaucratic red tape to get the facility built. Yesterday I was thrilled to finally help break ground on the new clinic. This is a huge milestone for our community. With this groundbreaking comes hundreds of local jobs, and a promise fulfilled to thousands of our veterans. I’m very proud to see this project move forward.
