Six years ago at this time I was lying in bed,due to chemo therapy. Five years ago at this time I was preparing settling in to my new home in DC, with my wife and new born daughter, Adara. Three years ago at this time we were preparing to move to NC. Today, no matter how trivial to others I, along with my partner, Dr. Robert Aryeetey, Captured the Trump Natiional doubles club championship. The fact that Im even able to participate in this event is spectacular. Im truly fortunate to be here. I have a beautiful wife, an unbelievable daughter, who I love more than life itself. I live on a lake, in a house I could only dream of living in. Its days like this that I wonder why me? It makes look at all of those in my life that Ive known and cared for, been friends with, and think, Im alive and loving life. I only hope more meaningful events take place in the future, and I know they will, so I may soak in all their beauty and wonderment. This is a good life, and Im so fortunate Im here to be present. Today was a good day! One day at a time! Thats all I ask.
