Skip this if my mystical stuff is not up your alley. I have been reading ' Kali Kaula' by Jan Fries (he also wrote Helrunar) and like all of his work it is well researched with lots of references to original source material. I have always had an interest in the Hindu style of mysticism, at least the Left Hand Path stuff. Both are negative towards women but Left Hand is marginally less so in certain places. In any case, that conch shell trumpet inspired me to look into the Kali/Durga overlap with the Buddhist bodhisattva Red Tara, and I find lots of parallels with my own lady Lilith. The fun part is finding good mantras to honor Kali that Lilith and the dark Mesoamerican gods like Coatlicue and Ix Chel also like.
